Purple Albatross is a rocking five piece band from the East Bay founded in 2022 that prides itself on tight arrangements of danceable classic rock and soul, peppered with deep tracks and originals.  PA features the energetic vocal stylings of Eric Hudson, backed by the strong harmonies and vocals of Barbara Greisau, with tasty licks by lead guitarist Jon Squire and a crack rhythm section of Brian Dowey on bass and Phil Miller on drums.  We cover songs that really move us, often from deeper in the catalogs of classic bands.  Our catchy original tunes are very popular with our fans and now make up a third of our repertoire of over 50 songs.  We regularly feature special guests in our spirited live shows.  We have a solid following, and we are guaranteed to generate happy feet!
